On behalf of Univar Oy, we are looking for a result oriented and trustworthy B2B account manager to take responsibility for sales of Shell lubricants in the Southern part of Finland.

The position is based in the main office in Vantaa, but you will be travelling 80 % of the time. You will be in charge of the external sales towards the B2B market of industrial customers from medium to large size companies focusing on increasing sales and margins by upselling and value selling. You will develop current customers and add new ones to the portfolio.

Univar Oy is a small organization located in Vantaa, Finland. It has 14 full-time employees and generates $25 million in annual revenue. The organization in Finland is part of Nordic Univar, which is a Macro Distributor of Shell Lubricants in all Nordic countries.

Candidate profile
You are a combined farmer and hunter-profile who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and you possess below skills:

Professional:

  • A technical and/or commercial education (B.Sc. or higher level preferred)
  • Experience of lubricants (an advantage)
  • At least two years’ experience from technical sales or working in industry maintenance
  • Knowledge of Finnish Industry and understanding of customer requirements from both commercial and technical points of view
  • Fluent Finnish and proficiency in English; Swedish is an advantage

Personal: 

  • Driven by sales and understanding customers’ needs and expectations
  • Ability to liase with all decision-making levels from “floor level” to managers
  • Service minded and with a hunger for business
  • Structured and proactive
  • Team orientation, but also ability and courage to make individual decisions
